100 Days of School, is so exciting especially when you are a kinder teacher because we are able to incorporate it into our lesson and it is a great way to motivate the students to continue coming. I wanted to create a shirt to show my excitement and hopefully pass it on to my students.
Materials needed:
Shirt
piece of cardboard
2 pks of hearts
Fabric paint
E6000 glue
Lay the shirt down flat and place the piece of cardboard in-between the shirt and make sure the shirt is spread out evenly.
Next select the hearts that you will be using and lay them on the shirt before glueing to make sure that they will fit. I was only able to fit 60 hearts, shaping them into a big heart.
Since I still needed to add another 40 items to make my heart a complete 100, I got some pink rhinestones to match with my hearts.
I started placing some of the rhinestones throughout the shirt before glueing them. I did not place all 40 rhinestones, I only did a few and then I started glueing them with E6000 and I added the rest where ever I there was empty space.
Once the hearts and rhinestones were glued, I began to write "100 Days of School... And Loving It!" with the fabric paint.
My students loved the shirt, I received a lot of complements on my shirt. I loved how it turned out!!
Love it. What tool did u use to put the rhinestones
